Will HitchMount LED Pod 4-Way Allow Reverse Light On 2025 Volvo XC60

Question:
Hello, I have a question about this Diode Dynamics HitchMount LED Pod 4-Pin Reverse Kit - 2inch and 2-1/2inch Hitches. Just want to make sure that I didnt misread or anything, but can this provide the reverse light by connecting to just the 4 pin flat? Is there any splicing into vehicle actual reverse wiring? Im just looking for brighter reverse light for 2025 volvo xc60. Thanks

Hey Rithy! The Diode Dynamics HitchMount LED Pod # DDY86QB plugs into your 4-way flat connector, but you will also need to tap into the reverse light wiring on your 2025 Volvo XC60. A standard 4-way doesn't carry a reverse light signal, so the included T-tap and extension wire are needed.
Does your XC60 have a factory 7-way connector as well, or just the 4-way flat?
