This hitch is made for serious towing with a 25,000 lbs gross towing weight rating and a 6,250 lbs vertical load limit. The heavy-duty steel build and carbide powder coat finish give it the strength and durability to handle long trips with big trailers. It mounts above the bed rails, creating a solid connection point that feels stable every mile down the road.
The interlocking 2-jaw system wraps completely around the king pin, giving you 360-degree contact that’s more secure than slide-bar setups. That tight fit cuts down on rattle and movement, so hitching feels locked-in and steady. It also helps make coupling easier since the jaws self-align for a smooth connection when you back in.
You can see exactly what’s happening with your hitch before moving an inch. The color-coded system tells you if it’s ready to uncouple (red), couple (yellow), or tow (green). The indicators are visible from the cab or right at the hitch, so there’s no guessing or climbing into the bed to check your lockup.
For slow-speed turns where space gets tight, the S25 slider offers 12" of front-to-back travel. It slides smoothly to give you the clearance needed between the truck and trailer during sharp turns. The non-binding design latches automatically in both directions, making it easy to use when maneuvering in tight spots.
When you’re done towing, clearing your truck bed is fast thanks to the 1-pin head removal system. Pull a single pin and lift off the head—it’s built so one person can handle it. With this modular setup, you can go from towing mode to open bed space without any hassle.

Today we're going to take a look at the Curt Universal 5th Wheel Base Rails with the installation kit in a carbide black finish. These base rails will provide a solid mounting point for your 5th wheel hitch. The universal L-shape brackets here will fit nearly any application. They are semi-custom brackets that can be used to ease installation on certain vehicles. All the parts are protected by a highly durable carbide powder coat finish. They are inaudible 00:00:24 in a rust resistant liquid bonderite coating. Now, this part is compatible with most 5th wheel hitches, rollers and goose neck adapters by Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Reese, Valley, and Husky.
Complete kit includes everything shown here, the two base rails themselves, the 4 L-shaped universal brackets, all the mounting hardware, and a nice set of detailed instructions on how to install everything. Tracking is showing that it has finally arrived. Can you please let me know if the tracking is correct or not? Sometimes, packages will deliver to the wrong address, so I also recommend you contacting your neighbors if you still have not received it to see if they got it in your place.
