Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this CURT Custom Fit fifth wheel bracket kit for the Toyota Tundra Trucks. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2007 and newer Toyota Tundra trucks with the six and 1/2 foot bed, excluding the crew cab models. And on the custom fit part like this one, I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now if you notice, I've tried to prop these up into the position as they would be when they're installed on your vehicle.
Basically these brackets are designed to mount beneath your truck bed, and they provide these attachment points for your fifth wheel base rails to attach to. It does require the CURT base rails part number C16104, C16204, or C16205. All those base rails we do sell separately on our website. Basically, this will provide a custom fit, and they mount to existing holes in your vehicle's frame. If I just turn one of these, just to give you an idea, if you'll notice they have the holes already drilled in them and they'll line up with the holes in the vehicle's frame, so it minimizes the amount of drilling you have to do, which in turn will cut the installation time in half when compared with the universal bracket kits.
Does include everything shown here on the table, all the brackets you need, all the necessary hardware to install it. They even include for this application an electrical bracket, and then inside here is a set of detailed instructions that'll describe how it all goes together. These parts are a black powder coat finish to resist corrosion, and they are designed to work with the industry standard rails, that are compatible with B&W, CURT, Draw-Tite, Reese, and Husky Above Bed fifth wheel trailer hitches. Excellent product, shipped fast, All parts included as they should be. Installation went well, Ran into a little bit of interference with one of the bed crossmembers but with the flexibility in the brackets it allowed for this, overall very impressed.
