Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this ARB Essentials Recovery Winch Rigging Kit with Storage Bag. Now this essential seven piece kit is going to give you accessories to make recoveries with your winch. And this kit includes everything that you see here on my table before me. Let me briefly go over each piece so you know what you're getting. (snatch block jingles) First, we have this snatch block that's going to increase your winch's pulling power.

It's gonna let you change the direction of the pull. And this wheel is polymer, so this is going to be less abrasive on your synthetic rope than steel wheels. This is going to work with ropes up to a half an inch in diameter, and that pulley diameter is four and five 16th inches. And this has a 20,000 pound capacity. Next, we're gonna get these two shackles.

And as you know, shackles create safe attachment points for your hook, snatch block, or looped ends. The looped ends of your strap and the shackles themselves feature a galvanized finish. And then these pins are powder coated (pin clinks) and these have a safe working load limit of 10,470 pounds. That screw pin thickness is three quarters of an inch, so you're gonna get two of those. (shackles clatter) And then next we have this tree saver strap and this has a break strength of 26,000 pounds, and this is going to be about three and one eighth inches wide and overall 10 feet long.

It's made out of nylon, very strong, very durable. (strap thuds) And then we have our elastic recovery strap. It's going to create an attachment for double line rigging. It's gonna extend the length of your wire or rope. This elastic stretches to prevent shock or jarring caused by using static tow strap or a chain.

This has a stretch rate of 20%. The break strength is 17,500 pounds. And this is gonna be about two and three eighths inches wide and overall it's 30 feet long. And then, (strap thuds) a really nice pair of leather gloves. I don't think I have winter gloves that are this nice, but I'm just gonna go ahead and put one of these on. So these are gonna do a great job of protecting your hands from calluses, rope burns and cuts from frayed wire. So again, they're leather, they're not some other type of inexpensive material. So a really nice pair of gloves. I'm pretty impressed by those. And then we have this heavy duty water resistant, easy to clean PVC storage bag. Of course this is going to keep all of the accessories of this kit organized. It's a very durable bag. It doesn't feel like it's going to rip or tear easily at all. If you get it muddy or dirty, it's going to clean up really easily for you. It's got these buckles here and then a heavy duty zipper with two pulls that are going to keep everything in your bag safe and secure. You're not gonna have to worry about things accidentally slipping out. And then I do wanna try to give you a view of the inside, even though I know it's going to be kinda difficult to see, but you're gonna be able to put your straps in here. You're gonna be able to put your snatch block in here. It's labeled, which is a nice touch. So snatch block, this is gonna be upside down for you. Snatch strap, and then tree trunk protector. So you're gonna be able to keep everything in here. Lemme see if I can give you a brief demonstration of that. Oh, and here inside the lid is where you put the gloves. So lemme start (Velcro rips) by putting the gloves in there. (gloves rustle) So the idea is you're really not gonna have things just floating around in this bag aimlessly. Everything is going to be in their place. So I'm just gonna go ahead and start putting each piece in. Snatch strap, tree trunk protector strap, (bag rattles) tree saver strap. We put in our snatch block (snatch block jingles) right here on the side. (snatch block jingles) We'll go ahead and throw in our shackles. (shackles jingle) So everything that's in there really neatly organized. Bring the lid over, (zipper whizzes) bring the zipper pulls to the front here, and then buckle this. (buckle clicks) This does have a shoulder strap too, so it's gonna be very easy to transport. It's got a little bit of a padding on it so it'll be comfortable to transport this. And everything is in place. So really nice bag to keep every piece of this kit organized and in good shape.
