Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we are taking a look at this Superwinch eight piece recovery, winch rigging kit with this heavy duty storage bag. Now this kit provides the accessories that you are going to need for rigging with your recovery winch. And this is really gonna be a must for going off-road with confidence. So what I would like to do briefly is just to go over each piece that comes with this kit. And first I would like to begin with this snatch block.

This snatch block increases your winch's pulling capacity when used for double line pull. Also changes the direction of pull without damaging your wire or your synthetic rope. The safe working load limit of this snatch block is 12,000 pounds. And then the maximum load or the break strength is 36,000 pounds. So that's the snatch block.

And then moving on to the bow shackles here, these bow shackles create a safe attachment point for your hook, snatch block or looped ends of your strap. And the safe working load limit of these bow shackles are going to be 10,000 pounds. And the body size is three quarters of an inch. And then the pin diameter is seven eighths of an inch. So those are the bow shackles that come with this kit.

And then we have our tree saver strap. And this strap provides a strong anchor point for recoveries while protecting trees from rope damage. And the padded sleeves that you see here are part of the strap and you have them here and also on this end as well. And not only the padded sleeves but you have reinforced loops. So this is heavy duty and the safe working load limit of this tree saver strap is 10,000 pounds.

The maximum load or the break strength is 30,000 pounds and the dimensions is eight foot long by four inches wide. So that's the tree saver strap. And then moving on to the recovery strap that is part of this kit. This strap creates an attachment for double line rigging. It also extends the length of your wire or synthetic rope. Again, this strap has padded sleeves on either end and then reinforced loops. And the safe working load limit of this recovery strap is 8,600 pounds. And the maximum load or the break strength is 26,000 pounds. And then the dimensions of this strap, this is going to be 30 feet long by three inches wide. So that's the recovery strap that is included in this kit. And then we move on to this choker chain. Now this is 10 feet of five sixteenths inch, grade one choker chain. It comes with these hooks on either end. So this is a nice addition to this kit. And then you also get a pair of extra large winching gloves. How my hands are on the larger size, I guess and so this is a good fit for my hands. It's got hook and loop fasteners here and there's a little bit of padding right in the palm of my hand in this glove, that's gonna provide extra protection from calluses, from rope burns, from cuts. And I think they're also gonna do a pretty good job of keeping your hands warm too if you're working out in a colder climate or the weather isn't as great as it can be, I think these are gonna keep your hands warm. So, I'm really glad to see these gloves as part of this kit as well. And then you're also gonna get this heavy duty storage bag. And this bag has plenty of room to store what comes in this kit, but it also has a wire reinforcement here on the top. And then it has several feet here on the bottom that is going to just add as a protection for the bottom of the bag but it's very heavy duty. It's got plenty of storage. And what I'd like to do is just show you how easy it is to throw everything in the bag. So I'm just gonna begin with my straps here, put that at the bottom of the bag. Now, as you can see, even with the straps, it's a very deep bag and it has plenty of pockets along either side of the bag as you can see here. I'm gonna go ahead and put in the snatch block. Choker chain. And then, the bow shackles. I'm just gonna put them in the pockets along the side here. And then don't forget the gloves. And then the top will just come together like that, hold the zipper, closed. And so you have these handles. You're gonna be able to join together with this hook and loop in closure. And then also a shoulder strap that you can also use with the shoulder pad here as well. That'll give you a little bit of comfort there while you're carrying that. But again, you got, I haven't even used these outside pockets so you can throw some other essential items in there, like a, maybe a flashlight or you'll have plenty of room to put other items in this bag beyond what comes in the kit and then reflective strips as well for low light situations.
