Today we are going to be reviewing Part Number BDW20001. This is the Bulldog Roller Fairlead for the Bulldog Power Sport ATV Winches. This roller fairlead will protect and guide the wire rope onto your winch drum. This is mounted usually in front of your winch and your wire rope would come through here. This has four rollers. It has the two horizontal rollers and the two vertical rollers. These will help reduce wear on the wire rope and it's also great for angled pulls because if you are at a severe right or left angle, your wire rope would roll along these rollers and if you are at a severe up or down angle, it would use the horizontal rollers. This frame has a nice black powder coat finish, helps protect it from any corrosion.
The rollers are a zinc plated finish. This fairlead is not recommended for use with synthetic rope, mainly just for wire rope and the mounting pattern is measured from the center of this mounting of this mounting hole to the center of the mounting hole right across from it. If we put a ruler on it, they give it in both millimeters and inches. Millimeters would be 109 millimeters and inches would be 4 1/4 inches. The compact size is what we were looking for. Hopefully it will hold up if not we may have to fabricate a stronger version Will see how it goes. Thanks.
Awesome price, and the winch rollers came very quickly. Beat other prices to install on my ATV'S. Very happy with my purchase!
The fairlead of well made and appears to be of good quality. I have a winch in the bed of a Kubota RTV 900 and the fairlead will be installed in the tailgate so the cable can pass through and relieve any strain on the body of the utv.
