Today we're going to be taking a look at the Performance Tool, 12 volt, clamp on fan, Part Number PTW1658. Don't be a fool, stay cool while you're on the road in your RV or camper with this 6 inch oscillating fan. The 6 foot cord simply plugs into your RV's 12 volt power supply. It's a one speed fan. If you'd like to have more of a direct breeze, flip the red switch and it keeps it from oscillating. It's lightweight, we've got it clipped on our visor here, but you can clip it anywhere you like.
The rubber teeth on either side won't harm whatever you're clamping it to. It's adjustable to fit your comfort needs and if you'd like to mount it permanently, there's included hardware to do so. That's going to complete our look at the Performance Tool 6 inch oscillating fan. Part Number PTW1658.

All plastic gears and holds together by a zap strap... The plastic gears were totally dry (no lubricant) and it clonks every time it does a cycle. Let’s see how long it lasts but works for now
The fan will be handy camping, RVing, even in cab of truck. Well made, see if wife can tear it up.

the fan was better than I thought it would be for the price. It puts out plenty of air. It is a little noisy but I'd rather have the noise and good air flow than quit and low air flow. The mounting clip set up could be better and it would have been nice if it came with all the bolts to put together so I didn't have to go to home depot to pick some up. But other than that a nice little fan for the money
I bought this to insall in my Gator side by side. Very poorly made for this type of application. It simply is not capable of being tightened down enought to make it stable
Everything I have ordered from etrailer has arrived as promised. Customer service is amazing. All of there products are quality. I own a landscape company and I have outfitted my truck and trailer with some of there products and I must say I would highly recommend etrailer to anyone.
Better like where you mount it before you drive off, because if you have to adjust it it takes two hands and some wrenches to reposition it (not talking about the clamp). Looks like zero thought went into the swivel neck component.
The fan blade fell off as soon as I plugged it in.
The fan works works but doesn't move much air and makes a lot of noise.
Product was easy to find on the website, great description followed, and it
was exactly what I required. I ordered and received it the same week, though
the packing could have been better. I put it to use straight away, and performs
as expected!
