Hello Jean-Marc; to connect the third brake light you can use the 3rd Brake Light Logic Module # PP20-702. You will tap into the left and right brake/turn signal wires and run that up to your third brake light. The module will filter out the turn signal so only the brake light will come on on the truck cap.

Worked as described. I used it on a teardrop trailer I was building. Easy to use. I liked it enough to use again on another trailer.

Hello Jean-Marc. I used this module on my new 2026 Ram 2500 Power Wagon and Overland AT Atlas Topper and it works great. Not sure how your truck is set up, but I located the module behind the driver side tail light, because that's the side the topper's 3rd brake light and other electrical accessories were made available. Locating it near one of the brake lights gives you easy access to one of the brake indicator wires, so you'll only have to run one wire over to the other light. You can ground the third wire to any good body/chassis part that you can confirm is grounded with multimeter. I drilled and cleaned a hole for ground on the steal panel behind the brake light housing and properly weatherproofed it. Just a note - before I installed the module and ran the wire, I tested it with long jumper wires to confirm operation. Good luck!
