Hey Joseph, yes the Air Lift kit part # AL45DQ that you referenced is a correct fit for your 2026 Toyota Tacoma trail Hunter hybrid. No modifications would be needed to install this kit either. Are you looking for a compressor kit as well?

I installed these on my ‘25 SR5 to help with towing. They do a great job with added support, but I’m surprised how much they limit suspension travel and articulation. The bags won’t extend as far as the stock suspension will, so you might have a harder time off road. I’d look at other options if you bought your TrailHunter as an off-road toy.

I purchased the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 air bags for my 2024 Tacoma SR5.. I tow a 700# utility trailer with a 1200# side by side. With the stock suspension, it would easily bottom out and feel unsafe on the highway. The airbags made a significant difference. 90% of the time I am driving without the trailer, and I keep the air bags at about 7#, if I remember right the minimum is 5# to keep the bags from getting damaged. The ride is definitely rougher than without the airbags, but it is a truck! I just blocked out a full day to install them, but it could be done much faster with 2 people. I did one side at a time, and of course, the 2nd side went much faster than the 1st side. I split some rubber tubing and used it to cover the air tubing wherever it looked like it might rub on the frame. I secured the rubber tubing with double zip ties. I also used dozens of zip ties as I routed the air lines to keep them free from touching the frame. It was overkill, but I'm a retired firefighter, and everything needs reductancy! I debated on using a T to join the air lines so I would only have one fill fitting, but ended up keeping the lines separate so I could adjust them individually if needed. I also found that Toyota has 2 cut-outs in the frame behind the licence plate, so all you had to do is drill a 1/4" hole through the plastic section on each side of the licence plate to mount the air fittings. I found that if you are careful running the tubing, you only have to worry about one place for a possible leak, and that is where you attached the air line to the air bags. The air fill fittings are pre-installed at the factory. Over a year now and no leaks.
