Question:

On my 2025 Kia sportage on the brake switch can you tell me which wire color is the cold side of the brake switch that I should tap into it the red wire from my TK56ER that I bought from you. Thanks. Bob

Hi Robert; I'm sorry to say we don't know the color of the wire on your 2025 Sportage. The only way to find it is to use a tester like # PTW2993. The cold side of the stop light switch will be the wire that only has power when the brake pedal is pressed.

On some newer vehicles this may not be accessible in the cab of the vehicle. If you are unable to find it you can install the Roadmaster Universal Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751000 and use it to connect the red wire on your Tekonsha POD # TK56ER.
