Can Seaflo Fresh Water Electric RV Toilet Replace Techma 12 Volt Toilet

Question:

Hi, we recently purchased a 2012 Itasca Ellipse 42qd and it has a Techma 12 volt macerating toilet. Is the Sea Flow a direct replacement? Or will there be lots of modifications that need to be done? Im disabled and need a taller toilet. The picture Ive attached is our toilet. Its unbolted from the floor in the photo. Thank you so much for your help!! Doug

Hey Doug, so the Seaflo Fresh Water Electric RV Toilet # SE95CR most likely would work well to replace what you have and would install easily but you need to take one measurement to be sure. This toilet requires a 10 inch rough in measurement which is the distance from the wall it back up to to the mounting holes that secure the toilet. Check to make sure that dimension is the same or more and you'd be good. Just based on the picture of what you have it seems very likely this is the correct fit.

Hey Doug, how did things go after checking that 10-inch rough-in measurement for your Itasca Ellipse? Were you able to get the Seaflo toilet fitted without extra work? Your update could make it easier for others replacing a Techma unit.

@JamesonC Hi, thank you for getting back to me! I have not bought the toilet yet. Its going to be one of the winter projects that we want to get done. I need a taller toilet and may be able to build a platform to put ours on. I won't know until I tear into the project. Thanks again for your help!! Doug
