Is The Jensen Stereo JEN43YR Exclusive To etrailer?

Question:

Is the Jensen stereo JEN43YR exclusive to E-Trailer? I am shopping around and dont find it anyplace else. It looks nice. I want one with HDMI ARC.

Hello Paul, thanks for reaching out. We are a Jensen dealer but we are not the only place that sells Jensen products. We do use our own unique part numbers for most parts, which is why you would not see the # JEN43YR part number pop up anyplace else. This is one and the same as the Jensen part JWM65. It does HDMI output that supports ARC.

Are you replacing an old stereo?

Yes Our 21' Cougar is 12 yrs old so the radio is probably 15 years old. Are ypu familiar with Brinkley Products? Very nice but their 23 ft trailer is about $75,000! We decided to keep fixing up the old Cougar.

@PaulH I am fairly familiar with Brinkley campers. I follow them on facebook and some of their new models and very impressive. They are definitely proud of them though lol.

I'm getting close. Being in my late 70's puts me at a disadvantage when it come to electronics. I finally realized that the JEN43YR unit is only streaming which is about all we do anyway. Our old Jensen is about 14 years old and is Model AWM965. I need to know if the new unit will plug right in to the old wiring harness. The old speakers are Magnadyne SK525G in the trailer. Their outside dimension is 6". The outside speakers are the same size. I was looking at the Polk RC60 for inside. I'm sure there is a size difference . Also I only have about 2 1/2" depth to work around plus the fact that the ceiling is just a thin not very strong panel. I don’t remember if you sell Polk or not. Any advice would be helpful . Most of the car stereo place near me were not too interested .

@John Hey John. Based on my research, the Jensen # JWM60A uses the same cutout size, and the same wiring connector as the AWM965 so it would be a direct swap out. We do not carry the Polk brand here, but feel free to reach out if there is anything else I can do to help!
