Recommendation to Replace Jensen RV Stereo AWM975

Question:

Do they even sell the Jensen AWM975 Stereo anymore for my camper? It says it is out of stock on every site I look at, even the Jensen site. If not, what is the simplest one to replace it with, without having to change anything?

I reached out to my contact at Jensen and he did say that your AWM975 model stereo has been out of production for a while. To replace the unit he said the best option is with the Jensen RV Stereo # JWM60A, which features the same cutout size and overall dimensions of what you currently have. He did say though that the wiring harness is different so you will need to make hardwire connections when installing it.

There is not a stereo available that would allow for a plug-and-play install with your existing wiring.

This is a really nice unit that has Bluetooth capability and a 3-Zone output that allows for up to 8 speakers to be connected. I have attached a couple short video reviews that you can check out along with the written install manual.

Does the JWM60A have an optical Audio Plug in?

@LanceC Hey Lance, it doesn't look like the # JWM60A has a plug-in port for an optical audio cable. It doesn't look like we have an option that does, unfortunately.
