What is the difference between the e-trailer e25TR and the Curt c67JR? They look the same.

Hello Charles,

Great question. The only difference between the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e25TR, and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C67JR is the finish. I am going to let you in on some top secret information, Curt makes our hitches for us. So they are structurally the same but the Curt comes in a glossy black finish, and our etrailer one comes in a matte black. Personally I like the matte black look, I think it gives it more of that OEM look.

Both will be a great fit for your 2025 Subaru Outback Premium, and the install will be as difficult as the EcoHitch we talked about in your other question.
