Propane Hose With 3/8 Female Flare Fittings

Updated 09/16/2025 | Published 05/17/2025

Question:

I am replacing my propane supply hose for my RV. The hose is 12 long with female 3/8 swivel fittings at both ends. I was unable to get the hose ends from the refrigerator out of the hole cavity on the inside wall because of the sealant the manufacturer placed around the hole. I had to cut the hose. I would like to use your: Part Number: 100040-144-MBS which has a 3/8 male NPT fitting at one end and a 3/8 female flare swivel at the other, however, I need to adapt the 3/8 female NPT over to another 3/8 flare female. Can you help me out with an adapter before I purchase the hose?

Hey Michael,

We do not have an adapter that is going to do that for that hose. What we do have though is a hose with both 3/8 female flare fittings on each end. You are going to need # 37207-30955 to replace that original for you. This is the same length as the one you mention before but eliminates the need for any adapter fitting. This is going to work great for you.

Are you needing any other pieces to your propane setup? If so I am happy to help find those if you want to let me know.

Hey Michael, Did the hose with the 3/8 female flare fittings on both ends work out for replacing your original hose? I'm asking because your experience could be really helpful for others facing a similar situation.

@NickS It did, however, I had to purchase adapters for one end.

@MichaelT I am glad it worked even though you had to get some additional adapters. What kind of adapters did you have to get?
