Hey Rene, thanks for the information. To add a hitch to your 2002 Mitsubishi Montero, you'll want the Curt item # C13800. This is a class III, custom fit hitch with a 2" receiver, that includes all necessary hardware to bolt onto your Montero. It will not fit the Sport models and I do not have an option for a hitch that does.
For a wiring harness, I recommend the Curt T-Connector item # C55380. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your Mitsubishi's wiring harness, which is located behind the tail lights. It will provide you with a 4-way connector.
I also recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 and the item # C42CR to secure the 4-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
For a ball mount, we have the etrailer Ball Mount w/ Pre-Torqued 2" Ball item # e77DR. It has a 7,500 lbs capacity, a hitch pin, and a 4" drop, which will be helpful in keeping your trailer and Montero level.
What kind of trailer are you towing?

Hello Sir, thank you for your quick reply. My Montero has brake lights on the bumper as it also has tail lights on each side of the truck. But I get it. I should connect to the tail lights. That is why I sent my VIN number before to make sure everything is just bolt on. Thank you so much. I will be ordering these 4 items soon.

Hello again, I just registered 2 vehicles that's the delay of buying the items. As long as we are sure about the C13800 tow hitch and harness would be bolt on.

The wiring harness, is it connected to the bumper lights or the tail lights on the body?
