Troubleshooting A Furrion Range/Oven Knob That's Always Lit Up Red

Question:

The red light on my furrion stove burner knob will not ever turn off. Which parts do I need to order to replace the light up board behind the knob? Is that part of this?

Hey Erik,

It's common for the light on your Furrion stove's knob to stay on if it senses that the oven is on. Since you're clearly not running the oven but it's still on and staying red instead of changing to blue that would indicate an issue with the oven. Typically this just means that the installer flipped the positive and negative wires so I'd start by checking that first. If not you could have a short somewhere else in the wiring or on the knob's circuit board.

You can remove the knob from the stove by pulling it off of its post and the top of the stove can be taken off to check the wiring below for any cuts or damage that could potentially causing the issue. If not the switch that allows power through to the lights on the oven/range could be shorted and in need of replacement.

I would reach out to Furrion and start a warranty case to see if you can get any needed replacement parts for free. If not, We offer a replacement temperature control knob with part # FR82NR.

The knob with the red light that won’t turn off is one of the stove burners not the oven

@Erik Is it the ignition knob or a specific burner?

@Erik The specific burner knobs can be model specific. Do you know what model you have? If not, there should be a sticker under the top where the burners are that lists the model number.
