Why Won't My 1-1/4 inch Ball Mount Slide Into a Class I Hitch
Question:
The draw bar I have to fit into my hitch will not go back far enough to line the holes up where the pin goes threw. There is a screw inside the hitch on the right side behind the hole and it does not allow the draw bar to go back far enough. Any suggestions on how to get this to work?

It sounds like you have a Class I hitch and are trying to use a Class II drawbar with it. Class I hitches are designed to do exactly what you are trying to do, prevent the use of a Class II accessory by not letting the holes line up. This is to prevent overloading the hitch. I attached an FAQ on hitch classifications for you to check out also.
The correct ball mount to use with your Draw Tite Hitch part # 24915 would be the Sportframe Draw Bar part # 3593.
