Question:
1. Does the handle not deadbolt open from the inside if it has been locked from the outside? 2. I have a Tri-Mark RO/ENR 1983/72130 see photo. Which product is the best replacement? Thank you!!

Hi Jen,
The numbers on your Tri-Mark door latch unfortunately don't come back to anything for me so I can't see how big the latch assembly is. In order to find the correct replacement we'll need to measure the cutout hole it's sitting in to see what will fit it. The Bauer # BA64FR requires a 5-1/4" wide x 4-1/2" tall cutout hole to fit and is designed for specifically for motorhomes. If this is a trailer you'll need a different style latch.
The inner latch on the # BA64FR is always going to pull the plunger back regardless of the deadbolt or outer latch being locked. If the deadbolt is locked opening the inner latch will not unlock it so you would need to use the key (if outside) or turn the latch on the inside to unlock the deadbolt and can then pull the latch again to open the door.
Let me know what size you measure for the cutout hole and if you have a trailer or motorhome and I'd be happy to pick out the correct replacement.
