How Do I Measure I Determine The Correct Replacement Toilet?

Published 11/01/2024

Question:

I have a 2021 Passport GT 2950BH and the toilet is mounted at an angle to the wall. How do I go about measuring to see if this would fit? I understand the 11inch flange but where would I start my measurement for that? Which porcelain toilet would you recommend if this would not work?

Hello Floyd, thanks for reaching out. That is an interesting spot for a toilet. What I would do in this case is simply measure from the back of the toilet to the center of the hole in the floor. That will tell us what kind of rough-in measurement will be suitable for the replacement toilet.

For example, the Lippert Flow Max Full-Timer RV Toilet # LC67AF you mentioned has an 11" rough-in measurement as you can see in the diagram below. As long as the rough-in measurement of your current toilet is 11" or more, the # LC67AF will fit and work great for you. I would also measure the overall length of the toilet to be sure the new one will allow the door to open. It looks like the clearance there might be tight.

If you find a different size toilet is needed just let me know the rough-in of your current toilet and I am happy to look into it.
