Updated 12/22/2025 | Published 10/02/2024

Question:

I have a 2015 Forest River Suvayor Pilot SVbdls. I t has only 9-1/2 inches from the wall to the Toilet. Standard water line. Can I upgrade to a higher and elongated or wider seat. Thank You. Have a nice day.

Hello Richard, thanks for reaching out. With only 9-1/2" from the wall to the center of the toilet, this will definitely be a limiting factor in what toilets you can use.

We do have a standard height toilet option that will work with the 9-1/2" "rough in" measurement as we call it. Take a look at the Thetford Aqua-Magic Style II RV Toilet # TH65SE. This is a standard height ceramic toilet that measures exactly 9-1/2" from the center of the flange to the wall. This is the largest toilet we offer that will fit in your space. If the current toilet is low-height plastic, a standard height ceramic one will be a nice upgrade. A lot more similar to what you are used to using in your home. There are no elongated seat options that will fit with the 9-1/2" rough in measurement.

This same toilet is also available in plastic as part # TH52SE if that is your preference. Just let me know if you have any other questions.

Hey Richard, how did the fit work out with the Thetford Aqua-Magic Style II toilet in your Forest River Surveyor? Your feedback could really help others trying to upgrade in a tight space like that.
