Question:

I have a Thetford acqua 2 toilet 42070 I need to work on. I would like to know if there is a water shutoff valve I can put on the main line so I don’t have to shut water off to the whole trailer. Thanks

I looked up the Thetford Aqua-Magic II and was able to find out it uses 1/2" NPT fittings therefore you can easily install a shut-off valve like the Valterra Single Hose Shut-Off Valve part # A01-0125VP directly behind the toilet with a couple adapters. These adapters can be obtained locally, you'll need one to go from a 1/2" NPT to 3/8" NPT and another to go from 3/8" NPT to 1/2" NPT. You'll also want to be sure to use the Valterra PTFE Thread Seal Tape part # A05-0265. We don't offer any 1/2" shut-off valves unfortunately.
