Disc Brake Kit for Load Rite 5 Starr Boat Trailer

Question:

Im trying to find disc brake kits for a Load rite 5-star Boat trailer. Metal Tag reads 49649 Tongue Tag B092191269 TDE 1146469 6 Bolt 5 1/2 dia. 12 inch rotors

Hi Shayne; I wasn't able to find anything that corresponds with those tags or part numbers. However, based on the 12" rotor and the 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern the Kodiak Disc Brakes # KOD69FR you were looking at will likely fit. This is designed to for a #42 spindle on a 5,200 lb or 6,000 lb axle.

What you can do is check your axle tag to see if it has a serial number or capacity to identify it. If not, you can look at your bearings to see if they match. The numbers will be stamped in the side or you can measure the inner diameter using a digital caliper # PTW80157. These use a # 25580 inner and # 15123 outer bearing with a # GS-2250DL (10-36) grease seal.
