Replacement AC for a Coleman-Mach 15K Fighting the Summer Heat

Question:

Hey there. I have a 2023 No Boundaries 20.3 that has a 15K Coleman-Mach ducted AC 48204-069 I believe?. I think it works as stated but just isnt strong enough to cool down my trailer in the Texas summers. Was wondering if you thought a Furrion 15K replacement would do any better? Looking for a direct replacement compatible with the ducting and thermostat. Im also open to any other ideas like a second AC or anything that could help me for these 3 or 4 months out of the year where I cant get the temp lower than about 82 degrees. Thanks! -steven

Hey Steven! The Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner item # FR42PV is exactly what you need! It was designed to replace the Coleman units like you have so it's an easy plug and play install. We've found that Furrion units blow the coldest and are super quiet so you'll love the performance.

I would manage your expectations with this upgrade though. The Furrion item # FR42PV will cool down quicker and has been proven to be colder than the Coleman-Maches but fighting that Texas heat with camper insulation will be difficult.

If you decide to go with a second unit, I recommend the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System item # FR92PR.

Thanks! That's super helpful. In the end, I'd just like the easiest route to just get down to 75 degrees. I often arrive at my location mid-day and try to get some computer work done. Wish we had more shady camping around here as I think that alone would solve the issue. Appreciate it.
