Question:
Installed trailer lighting for a 2020 Toyota Prius does not have tail lights or brake lights. Turn the indicators work but no brake lights and tail lights? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Electrical diagram of the trailer lights through my paperwork away

Hey Edward,
I'm not sure what trailer wiring harness you purchased from us for your 2020 Toyota Prius, which matters because that can help narrow the issue. Generally not having tail/brake lights is for a hardwired option like the Curt Tail Light Converter # C59496.
My guess is this is something simple as not having a good ground, which is almost always the case for this issue. The ground needs to be attached to the body/frame but it needs to be a clean area without paint or dirt otherwise it won't ground. So I'd check that and I've also attached a link below to a help article on troubleshooting trailer wiring which I recommend looking at.
