I need to extend the wires for the compressor and the main unit for my wireless one. What gauge wire do each of them use?

Air Lift doesn't have a specified gauge wire requirement for extending the wiring of the Air Lift Compressor kit part # AL25980EZ but based on the power requirements of the compressor I would go with 12 gauge wire like the part # 12-1-1 which we sell by the foot.
