Adding 4-Way to 2023 Honda Ridgeline with 7-Way
Updated 05/06/2024 | Published 05/27/2023 >
Question:
My 2023 Honda Ridgeline only has a 7 pin. I need a 4 pin for a light bar. Want access to 7 pin, and a clean look. The 7 pin doesn’t come apart to put an adapter in there like I’ve done before. Any suggestions, wiring harness that plugs in brake lights, reverse light. Any help much appreciated. Thanks

The easiest solution would be to use the Tekonsha kit part # 118384 which would plug inline with the 7-way you have now and give you a 4-way that when not in use could be totally hidden.

Incorrect. Honda's 7 pin wiring harness is hard wired and cannot use an inline plug. Only way is to splice and hardwire.
