Solution that Allows Furrion Vision S to Work with 2023 Chevy Silverado 2500

Updated 03/13/2024 | Published 05/01/2023

Question:

To whom it may concern, We have a Furrion S wireless camera system on our travel trailer. We have a 2012 Chevy Silverado that the camera system works fine on. Our new 2023 Silverado is our new tow vehicle. When the 2023 is hooked up to the trailer, with the trucks headlights turned on the cameras will not connect to the monitor. The blue power lights are on, but no connection. I have tried to re-pair the cameras, but they work fine if I hook up the 2012 to the trailer. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

The Furrion Vision S camera systems require an adapter to be used on the newer GM trucks like you have which is why you are experiencing the issue you described. For that we have the Furrion part # FR87PR which plugs inline with your 7-way.

I am having the same problem with AMTIFO A8 and my 2023 Silverado. It worked great with my 2017 Silverado. Will this adapter work for this camera? Thanks

@Stevo It's never been tested with that controller but from what we know about the new GM trucks and their issues with powering cameras I believe it would work to solve the problem.
