Question:
I recently bought a Sturgis Extend a stay from etrailer for my motorhome. My problem is that the on board tank has 1/2 M coming out. Connects to hose with 1/2. So how do I adapt the Sturgis POL into my 1/2inch setup? Will this work? Propane Adapter Fitting - Female POL x 1/4inch Male NPT. Is 1/4 actually 1/4 or are the threads 3/8?

It sounds like you have an unusual setup because to my knowledge all 100 lb motorhome propane tanks use the POL port like what came on the MB Sturgis Sturgi-Stay T-Fitting w/ Hoses # 103539-MBS you got from us.
With that being said, if you're needing the Propane Adapter Fitting # 37207-30095 then this takes a 1/4" Male NPT fitting and changes it to a POL fitting that your MB Sturgis T-Fitting is compatible with. Be sure to use Teflon tape or an alternative sealant like part # 37207-30555 for the 1/4" end.
The titles of fittings has more to do with the inner diameter of the hose that connects to it rather than the measurement of the fitting itself. For example, the standard 1/4" NPT fitting has a thread diameter of 0.540" which I believe is where your 1/2" setup you're talking about comes into play.
