Recommended Air Bags for a 2021 Ram 3500 Cab & Chassis Dually

Question:

Iam a hotshot and all the time I carrie heavy loads on my forty foot long goosneck trailer .my truck sags to much, I carrie only in the bed less than 3000 pounds. The bed itself heights is 990 pounds .what you suggest to level the truck in my everyday ride truck.thanks. The pictures are without any loads.

Thanks for the pictures! Since it sounds like you live in your truck I recommend using the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F2478. This is the only airbag system confirmed to fit the cab and chassis models of the 2021 Ram 3500. It fits both 2WD and 4WD. This system is compatible with 5th wheel and gooseneck hitches and also works with duallys.

This system has a 4,800 lbs load leveling capacity. I like the Firestone airbags because the rubber is rolled inside of the top and bottom plates. This gives you a more durable construction. I can not tell from your pictures but you will want to ensure you have 8" from the outside of the frame to the inside of the tire for clearance.

I also recommend adding the Firestone Air Command II item # F2219. This heavy duty onboard air compressor will allow you to adjust the PSI in your air springs from the comfort of your cab. The dual path function gives you the ability to adjust the PSI individually as well to compensate for off center loads.
