Is there a standalone ski hitch/arm that you would recommend as an all in one solution? I have a 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness trim.

There is a simple set up you can use for yoru 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness to carry skis, which is a roof rack that you can attach a ski carrier to. Since your Outback Wilderness has raised side rails, you just need a couple parts for the entire rack set up, which are the feet that attach to the side rails, and then the crossbars that attach to the feet.
For the rack, the best option for your Subaru is from Rhino-Rack because it is the best overall value. Here is all you'll need for the roof rack:
