How To Use Thule FlatTop Ski Carrier with Thule Evo WingBar Crossbars

Question:
I’m having trouble fitting my Thule ski carriers 91725B to my Thule Wingbar Evo 135’s. The carriage bolts are way too short to cover the wingbars. Which replacement bolts will allow me to install the ski carriers?

The Thule Xadapt7 Xsporter Load Bar Adapter for Ski Racks part # THXADAPT7 is our best option for reusing a Thule Flat-Top Ski Carrier 91725B with taller crossbars like the Thule WingBar. These are 2" tall.

So the Thule 91725B is universal and yet does not actually fit Thule evo wingbars (except if you buy an extra fit kit)? That’s ridiculous if true!
