Recommended 12" x 2" Self-Adjusting Brake Assemblies With 5 Bolt Brake Flange Pattern

Question:
Morning, Can you provide a part # for electric brake assemblies? 12 X 2 drum, 5 mounting bolts, white wire on magnet. I dont know if they are self-adjusting but would prefer them. Can they be changed as assemblies from non-self adjust to self-adjust? 2010 Airstream Classic w/ 15 - 6 lug wheels. Thanks,

The Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 12" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 5.2K to 7K # AKEBRK-7-SA is exactly what you are looking for. These brake assemblies fit a 12" x 2" drum and have a 5 bolt mounting flange pattern.
They are self-adjusting brakes that work for 5,200-7,000 lb axles. Nothing needs to be done as far as the installation is concerned when switching from manual-adjust to self-adjust. You will need to "break them in" just like you would any new brakes. The only real difference will be that you no longer need to remember to adjust the brakes periodically once installed.
Although they do not have a white wire on the magnet, the color won't matter. The wires are black but either wire on the assembly can be used as the power or ground. These are also compatible with the 15" wheels on your 2010 Airstream Classic.
I have attached an installation video for your reference along with a helpful article on brakes that you can check out.
