It sure will!

A 225/75-15 tire will fit on a wheel that's 5, 6, 6-1/2, or 7 inches wide.

I've linked to the 225/75-15 load range C, D and E tires we offer.

Hello Mike, Is it safe to mount 225/70-15 Van tires to a 6"j Alu rim? It is needed for a 2000kg Campingwagon I was told it needed to be wider when it is alu than if it is steel rims I guess at least that it will be ok to mount the 225 on a 6" steel rim Or what do you think?

@CarstenE Everything I've found online lists a 6 inch wide rim as the narrowest rim it's okay to use a 225/70-15 tire on. So rock on, it'll work fine. This being said, we typically don't recommend using passenger or truck tires on a towed trailer. Trailer tires have a stiffer sidewall that's better suited for the vertical load of a trailer.

@MikeL Hey Mike, Thanks for your quick reply. Does that apply to both alloy and steel rims? Inwas told Aloy rims needed to be 0,5 inches wider than steel rims to be able to mount the same size? It is 8 layer cargo tires I am going to mount ?? Thanks

@CarstenE The fit charts I saw made no distinction between steel wheels and aluminum. An 8-ply rated tire would work just fine.
