For your 2019 Jeep Cherokee Latitude I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e73ZR. This is a custom-fit, Class III hitch with a 2" receiver and a concealed cross tube. It has a maximum gross trailer weight of 4,500 lbs and tongue weight of 675 lbs. What sets this hitch apart from others is the matte black powder coat finish. This has more of an OEM look while doing a better job of hiding dirt and scratches when compared to a glossy finish.

If you plan on doing some towing you will also need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56406 if you don't have a 4-way already. This plugs into existing wiring and will provide you with a 4-way connection at the rear of your Jeep to power your trailer's signal lights.

For a complete towing setup you will also need a ball mount. Check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
