I really appreciate your assistance and prompt attention to my questions. Aside from purchasing the Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack 68" (which will hold the tent), I am also looking to add on the same truck (RAM 1500 Extended Bed) crossbars to place the Yakima MegaWarrior Cargo Basket. Which Yakima product do I need? I could not really determine what I needed by searching the website. Too many options, and I want to make sure I get the right product.

Happy to help! Our site does have a lot of options which can often be confusing. The roof racks for your truck fit all three type of cab models but they are all listed individually which makes it look like there are more options. To add a Yakima roof rack to your 2013 Ram 1500 you will need the following parts:

BaseLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars - Naked Roofs item # Y28TR

BaseClip Fit Kit for Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack Towers item # Y06135

I have linked an installation video below. This roof rack is compatible with the Yakima MegaWarrior Large Roof Rack Cargo Basket item # Y07080. The roof rack has a 165 lbs capacity and the basket weighs 43 lbs.

I recommend adding the Yakima Same Key System item # Y07204 to secure your roof rack from theft.
