How To Mount Old Thule Square Bar Ski Carrier On New Factory Aero Bars

Question:

Hi, I received an older thule ski rack and I think I need a few replacement part plus a mounting kit to attached to my vehicles factory installed crossbars Acura MDX 2016. Can you please tell me what I need to order? I received no screws or bolts or anything with it. What you see in the picture is all I have. Also, will any of the Thule locks work with this ski rack model? I dont know what model it is....

It looks like you have the older Thule Flat Top Ski Carrier and in which case you can purchase the Mounting Kit for Thule Flat Top Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Racks part # 7533998 to mount them onto factory aero crossbars. This kit will replace the square bar mounts on the rack currently so you can then use them on most factory and aftermarket aero crossbars.
