Recommended Replacement Brake Assembly For A Lippert 122259
Question:
Im looking for a brake assembly but unsure how to figure out what I need. Ive found Axletek 12-GGinch on the back of the assembly. The drum is 12x2 1/4inch and the actual brake pad is 2inch wide. Ive attached pics of what is currently on the trailer. Please let me know if there is anymore information I can provide, I know very little about the subject. Thanks

You actually have the very common 12" x 2" brake assembly for a 5,200 pound to 7,000 pound axle. The picture you supplied also shows that you have standard manual adjusting brakes, so if you were replacing both the left and right sides, I highly recommend the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 12" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies # AKEBRK-7-SA as they will be a direct bolt on replacement. Not only does this include both the left and right side brakes, it will also upgrade you to self adjusting. This makes the brake basically maintenance free after you get them installed.
