Which Replacement Wheel Bearings for Lowes Carry-On Trailer

Its become obvious that I need to replace the bearings/seals on my 2013 Lowes Carry-On 5x3.5foot utility trailer. I just bought it from the original owner and Im absolutely sure theyve never been changed. Is there a bearing/seal kit available for this model trailer, or will I need to tear into it and get numbers off the pieces to order? Thanks

Your Lowes Carry On trailer has a 2000 lb rated axle with straight (not tapered) spindles.

The owner's manual I found online for the trailer doesn't specifically mention which bearing set the trailer uses, but It'll either be an L44649 inner/outer or an L44643 inner/outer.

You can determine which by pulling a hub and checking the outer bearing for the reference number which will be etched on the side of the roller bearing cages. If there isn't a number on the side of the bearing cage, you can simply use a digital caliper like part # PTW80157 to measure the spindle diameter where the bearings ride. If the diameter is 1.063 inches, you have L44649 bearings, and would need the # BK1-150 bearing kit which includes the inner and outer bearing, the inner and outer race, the grease seal, the tang washer and replacement cotter pin.

If your spindle is 1 inch in diameter, you'll use the # BK1-100 bearing kit, which includes the replacement bearings, races, grease seal and the cotter pin.
