which trailer hitch and wiring do you recommend for my 2022 odyssey that has the hands free lift gate sensor?

For your 2022 Honda Odyssey I recommend the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76170 due to its hidden crosstube design meaning once installed the only visible part of the hitch will be the receiver itself as shown in the included picture, but also due to its 525lb tongue weight and 3,500lb trailer weight rating that aligns perfectly with the max towing capacity of your vehicle.

This hitch will work perfectly with your hands free lift gate sensor, you will just need to place your foot on either side of the receiver.

Moving on to a trailer wiring harness I recommend going with the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118781 which plugs in to the factory connection point on your vehicle so you do not need to splice any wires.

To complete your towing setup you will also need a ball mount, hitch ball, and hitch pin and clip but the correct one will be dependent on your trailer so I have included a link to a helpful article that goes over how to measure for the correct ball mount.
