How Do I Connect Griddle To Propane Tank
Question:
Hello, I got a griddle with my Geo Pro travel trailer. I want to connect it directly to a propane tank but dont know how to connect it. It is an Suburban Elite Series griddle model SOP-1003A. The instructions say it has a 3/8” male flare connection is provided for gas line connection. It also says To connect griddle to propane, use the RV low pressure gas system hose to connect the quick-disconnect female to the male quick-disconnect fitting on the back of the griddle. My question is, what kind of hose can I get so I can connect this directly to a propane tank? Thanks for any help you can give.

If you have a 3/8" male flare fitting on the backside of your regulator that is attached to your griddle, you will need a 3/8" female fitting to make connection and the opposite end of hose will need to have the female POL Type 1 fitting. I suggest the MB Sturgis Propane Hose w/ Back Check - Type 1 x 1/4" MPT - 30", # 100473-30-MBS and then use the Propane Adapter Fitting - 3/8" Female SAE Flare x 1/4" Female NPT, # 37207-30225.

Hi, I’m not sure what I need? I have small lpg griddle. It just has the gas line coming out the back and it sticks out about 3-4 inches. I need a fitting and the hose with regulator for low pressure. I wish I could send photos. Thanks, Ron Rice
