Measurements For Installing B&W BWGNRK1111 Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch on 2011 Ford F-350
Question:
I would like to check the measurements to setup a 5th wheel companion hitch BWRVK3500. My truck is a 2011 ford F350 Super duty with a 8 foot bed. Diesel It is a 4 door. This hitch is attached to a goose neck. Right now I have it at the lowest height and as far back as possible. Thanks

Expert Reply:
The B&W Companion # BWRVK3500 which is height adjustable from 16-1/4 to 18-1/4 inches above the bed floor, would attach to your 2011 Ford F350 using the B&W Turnover Ball hitch, part # BWGNRK1111. The Turnover Ball hitch mounts to that the truck bed so that the hole for the gooseneck ball where the Companion would install is 46-1/8 inches forward of the rear edge of the truck bed (the bed, NOT the edge of the tailgate).
The Companion 5th wheel hitch pivot arms can be installed to set both the hitch height as well as the fore/aft positioning of where the king pin/hitch jaw connection would be, which is between 1 to 7 inches rearward of where the Companion's post mounts into the Turnover Ball Hitch, as outlined in the linked instructions or the product page which is also linked.
I'm not sure exactly which measurements you were needing, but I've ran through everything relevant above. If I've overlooked a measurement you were needing, just let me know.
If you'd also like to install a 7-way connector in the truck bed so you don't have to run the trailer connector cable up over the tailgate, you can do so using part # C56000.
I've also linked to install/demonstration videos for the parts mentioned above.
