Two 12-Volt Roof Fan Vents For Camper Van Conversion, Class B, and Trailers

Have several questions about vent fans. I have a small camper van like a sprinter. Would a maxxair 4 speed 12v fan and a smaller 12v max air vent 1 for front 1 for back be an overkill for small van. I want strong flow. Do i need a reversible fan or is an exhaust fan on front roof just a roof vent on back roof enough? Also is a 14 inch vent van too big for small sprinter van roof. Also is just 100 ah deep cycle battery enough to power 12v max air 6 led ceiling lights for a few hours a day? Whats your opinion?

If you want "strong air flow" then two vents will be great. Having a reversible fan on one will give you options. You could have a strong breeze in your bed area if you like. You could have one blowing in and the other exhausting which will easily replace all the air inside with outside air in a jiffy. This is especially handy when cooking or showering that creates lots of heat and moisture.
I would go with the MaxxAir Plus # MA00-05100K with 12-volt fan, 10 speed fan adjustment, and thermostat. This fan has an outside dome design that is the most resistant to rain getting inside. Even in a significant rain you needn't worry. This fan also has a thermostat that will turn off the fan if it gets too cool. The white roof cover will let some light in which can be helpful with vans that do not always have enough light from windows.
For your other fan you could use a less costly standard MaxxAir # MA00-03801.
Regarding your battery, a 100 Ah battery will be more than enough to run fans and lights for quite awhile.
Regarding the 14"X14" size, this is standard. Nearly all fans fit into this format. This will be important down the road should you decide to replace or upgrade an existing fan.
