Question:
I have two trailers I’m looking to replace tires one old horse trailer numbers on sidewall F78-15 The other trailer was a travel trailer Triple axel marked H78-15 I’m assuming The 78 was the year lol from the looks it probably was but anyway I’m shopping and have know idea tire sizes and fit what should I be looking for other than I’m guessing 15” tires which seems odd because when I measure the rim it’s a 16”

The trailer tire size of F78-15 is actually the modern size number of 205/75-15 and the H78-15 is the 225/75-15. When you measure the rim you actually have to subtract an inch due to the lip that does not count as diameter which is why your 15 inch wheels are measuring 16.
For the 225/75-15 size the Westlake part # LHWL304 is a really great option with a higher speed rating, weight capacity, and comes with a great warranty that includes roadside assistance. Then for a similar 205 size we have the # LHWL300.
