Recommended Wheel Chocks for Tandem Axle Trailer with Wheels 1-1/4" Apart
Products Featured in This Question
Question:
I have a Lance 2375 travel trailer with dual axle 15” tires. I am looking for an x-chock style wheel stabilizer. I have tried a few but because the axles are so close the tires are about 1.25” apart and they wont fit because the ends of the stabilizer aren’t tall enough and hit the tire. What do you recommend for a tall, narrow stabilizer”

I may have a solution for you, but I don't believe there is going to be a wheel stabilizer/chock we have available that's going to work for tires that are 1-1/4" apart. You may want to have a look at the Fastway ONEstep Wheel Chocks for Tandem-Axle Trailers and RVs - 16" to 24" Long - Qty 2 # FA84-00-4840, which would require that you have a minimum of 16" between the points where your two wheels contact the ground.
If you can't make that work, your best bet is going to be using a standard wheel chock like the etrailer Wheel Chock - Polyurethane - Qty 1 # 288-02011 to secure your Lance 2375 trailer. These are durable polyurethane chocks that have ribbed bottoms to keep the chock firmly in place on the ground.
I've linked some review videos of these two parts for you to have a look at.
