Question:
I have an old Toyota pickup bed that has been converted into a trailer. Id like to use the tail lights from the pickup as my lights. My tow vehicle has a 4-pin connector. What do I need to make this work? Simpler is better. I dont NEED to have full functionality of the trailer lights. Brake, turn, and tail lights only are ok. Thank you.

In order to convert the tail lights on the truck bed to trailer tail lights you'll first need to start with a wiring harness, the 20 Ft 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness part # A20WB. Then, depending on whether or not the brake and turn signals are run through different bulbs/wires you may or may not need a converter, the Vehicle to Vehicle Tail Light Converter part # 118158. If the signals are separate you will need the converter but if they are combined you can just hardwire in the above harness.
