Question:

I would like to know what parts I need to put air springs on the rear axle of my 2003 dodge 3500 with a 6 inch lift kit. It is 4x4 and a cummins diesel if that makes any difference.

Assuming the lift kit on your 2003 Dodge Ram 3500 has a 6 inch suspension lift, the only additional parts that you will need are the Ride-Rite Lift Spacers, # F2375, for 6 inch lift kits in addition to the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, # F2299. If your truck has a 6 inch body lift, then you will not need the additional spacers because body lifts do not raise the frame of your truck, only the body.

The lift spacers will install under the air bags between the bottom of the air spring and the lower bracket that attaches to the axle. I have attached the installation instructions for the spacers and the air springs for you to check out. The spacers and the air springs include all necessary hardware for installation.

The only other part that you may be interested in is a compressor like the Firestone Level Command II Compressor, # F2219. This item is not required, but may be more convenient if you do not have an air compressor laying around the garage to inflate your air bags before you tow. I have attached installation instructions and an installation video for you to check out. The truck in the video is different from your truck, but it should give you an idea on what is involved for installation.
