Trailer Hitch that Fits 2017 Mercedes Benz Sprinter 2500 with Factory Step Exhaust

Question:
Can you explain how to add a Curt tow hitch to a ‘17 Sprinter 2500 with factory step? Currently there is a conflict with the exhaust pipe. Will I need to bend or modify the exhaust? I’d love to get details on how to make this work. Thanks.
