Question:
Can you recommend a WDH with sway control for the above-referenced combination? Here are the specifics: TV: 2017 f150 4x4 supercrew, 3.5 Ecoboost, 145” WB. 7,000 GVWR, 1,530 max payload. Trailer: 2021 Grand Design Imagine 17MKE, 22’ length, unloaded weight 4,674, 5,995 gross. Unloaded hitch weight 480. We have towed a tent trailer with other vehicles, this will be our first “real” trailer. Thanks much!

For your 2017 Ford F-150 and your 2021 Grand Design Imagine 17MKE I recommend using the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control part # EQ37060ET. This has a range of 400-600 lbs. of tongue weight and offers 4 points of sway control which will help a great deal when headed down the road.
If you do not have one already the Thin Walled Socket for Equal-i-zer Hitches part # EQ70-00-4800 will make the set up process very easy.
Check out the video I linked for you on the Equal-i-zer systems I did not too long ago.
