Question:
I am trying to match a seal for an old 1989 boat trailer. Trailer was manufactured for OMC by Custom Frames, Inc. and I can find no information on the trailer. The model number for the trailer is worn off the sticker, and I can find nothing on the axles. The info for GVWR is still legible on the trailer sticker and shows it as 3500 with the size tires I have. In any event, the axle shaft seals are brand name TTO and their number is E938. I can find no cross references for that number anywhere. Using a caliper and a tape measure not real precise, it appears that OD is 2 5/16 and ID is 1 11/16. This seal looks pretty close, but was hoping maybe you could cross reference. Another one item number# 010-180-00 also looks close on diameter, but appears too wide. My seal is not very wide. I havent measured that dimension, but it probably is not over 1/4 inch. I am attaching a picture of my seal. Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

Part # 168233, appears to be a close match to your existing grease seal with 2-5/16" (2.3125) OD and 1-11/16" (1.6875) ID. It has an ID of 1.688", OD of 2.332" and a thickness of 0.38".
Although I wasn't able to cross reference the "TTO E938" number on your seal, based on the dimensions and information you provided, the # 168233 grease seal should work well for you. It's typically used on #84 hubs which have a capacity of 3,500 lbs.
Because grease seals do not hold their shape very well after being removed from the hub, one thing I do recommend is using a digital caliper, like # PTW80157 to double check your measurements. Measure the portion on the spindle on which the seal rides, as well as your hub bore (see photo). This way, you can get the exact inner and outer dimensions needed for your grease seal.
